These terms govern the use of Edgar Finance, the app available at app.edgarfinance.it and in its installable versions. By using Edgar or creating an account you accept them. The service is provided by Andrea Panfilo, Rome, Italy, reachable at a.panfilo130@gmail.com. This is a translation of the Italian version, which prevails in case of any discrepancy.

What Edgar is

Edgar is a tool for following financial markets, organizing your portfolios and reading news and analysis. It can be used for free, with or without an account.

No financial advice

Edgar is for information purposes only. Nothing shown in the app (prices, charts, ratings, analysis, investment profiles, news) constitutes financial advice, a recommendation or a solicitation to buy or sell financial instruments. Investment decisions are yours alone, and involve the risk of losing all or part of the capital invested. If you need personal advice, consult a licensed financial advisor.

Market data

Prices, charts and news come from external providers and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. We do not guarantee their accuracy or continuous availability, and they should not be used as the sole basis for trading.

Your account

• To sign up you must be an adult and provide truthful information.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app (account menu → “Elimina account”) or by writing to a.panfilo130@gmail.com.
• We may suspend or close accounts used for abuse, unlawful activity or attempts to compromise the service.

Edgar Pro

Edgar Pro adds advanced features. During the beta it is free for those who activate it. When the beta ends, Edgar Pro may become a paid service: in that case we will announce it in the app before any change, and no charge will be made unless you choose to subscribe. The terms of any subscription (price, renewal, cancellation, right of withdrawal) will be shown before purchase.

Fair use

You may not use Edgar for unlawful activities, try to access other people's accounts, overload or compromise the service, or copy and resell its content in an automated way.

Availability and liability

We do our best to keep Edgar running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and may be subject to interruptions, errors or changes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for financial losses arising from the use of information shown in the app or from being unable to use it. This does not affect the rights that the law grants to consumers, which these terms do not limit.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we will let you know in the app; by continuing to use Edgar after the notice you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumers, the court of the consumer's place of residence has jurisdiction.
